RBR study reveals ARCA worldwide market growth outpacing competitors in 2016

Cash automation technology leader ARCA captured the largest increase in worldwide market shares, including the USA, in sales of teller assist units (TAU) last year, according to Teller Automation and Branch Transformation 2017. The 964-page report is published by RBR in London, and is widely recognized as the leading provider of strategic research in the industry.

"Innovation is really fueling our success," said Mort O' Sullivan, ARCA's Founder and CEO. "The RBR report shows that ARCA is successfully developing solutions that resonate with our clients. Last year we launched multiple new teller assist products, simplifying cash handling for bankers and retailers around the world.

"Our philosophy is to bring to market technology that is designed to be as flexible as possible and operate in a variety of settings and configurations. This exposes our clients to less risk and protects their investment as future needs evolve."

ARCA manufactures a wide range of TAUs. Just last year ARCA launched several new products to better meet the individual needs of their clients. These technology innovations include the CM18b, CM18 Evo, CM18 Solo, CM18 Solo+ cash recyclers and an assisted self-service solution - myTeller.

The RBR report found that ARCA holds the second largest largest share of the world's TAU market. The study identified the top-five market drivers for the teller units as increased efficiency, accuracy, improved security, increased cross-sells and customer relationship-building.

The Teller Automation and Branch Automation report is a biennial assessment of the current deployment levels of TAUs among banks and financial institutions. RBR interviewed institutions in 26 countries for the report and examined data from a wide range of institutions.
